Professor Matthew Hindson AM is a prominent Australian composer and academic, serving as Deputy Head of School, Deputy Dean, and Associate Dean (Education) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney. He holds a PhD and degrees in music (MMus, BMus) and is a member of the Charles Perkins Centre. His works blend classical traditions with popular music influences, emphasizing direct emotional expression.
