Matthew F. Fowler serves as Program Chair for the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSA), Associate of Science in Accounting (ASA), Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM), and Master of Science in Finance (MSF) programs at Cambridge College. Concurrently, he holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at RAA, Inc., the world's largest exhibition and museum designer based in New York City.
Dr. Fowler earned his PhD in Management/Accounting with a specialization in Forensic Accounting from Capella University and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. His academic credentials are complemented by 16 years of teaching experience across the United States and China, where he has instructed courses in accounting, economics, and finance.
His research and teaching expertise centers on Accounting, with distinctive focus on Forensic Accounting and Auditing methodologies. He brings practical industry insights to the classroom through courses including Financial Statements for Managers, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Managerial Cost Accounting, Forensic Data Analysis, and Nonprofit and Government Accounting.
As Program Chair, Dr. Fowler shapes curriculum development and academic direction for accounting and finance programs while leveraging his corporate finance leadership at RAA, Inc. His dual expertise bridges theoretical education with real-world financial management practices across professional services, logistics, architectural/engineering, SaaS, and design industries since 2008.
