معرفی
Matthew Calder is a Researcher at the School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Strathclyde. His work focuses on vulnerability discovery and mitigation in cyber-physical systems (CPS), particularly in pharmaceutical continuous manufacturing networks. He has expertise in security, networking, operating systems, and hardware, with a background in electrical engineering and computer security.
His research includes securing CPS and analyzing ransomware, supported by the EPSRC-funded Industrial CASE Account project (2020–2024). Calder developed a model water treatment plant for experimental security testing, reflecting his hands-on approach to industrial control system (ICS) security.
Research trends: Calder’s recent work emphasizes ICS security testbeds, CPS vulnerability modeling, and ransomware mitigation, combining theoretical analysis with practical hardware implementations.
Project involvement:
- Industrial CASE Account - University of Strathclyde (2018–2024), as Research Co-investigator with EPSRC funding (£18,263.00)
