Matthew Belcher is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Medical College of Georgia. He holds dual credentials in medicine (MD, Medical College of Georgia, 2013) and biochemistry (BS, University of Georgia, 2009) and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology (2017) and Georgia Composite Medical Board (2014, 2018).

His research spans genetic skin disorders, autoimmune dermatopathology, and novel pharmacological treatments. Key publications include studies on multikinase inhibitors for hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and proteolytic enzyme effects in bullous pemphigoid. Clinical interests focus on pediatric dermatology and complex skin infections.
