Matteo Pascucci is a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow at the Department of Philosophy, Central European University, and a researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. His work focuses on formal logic, including modal, temporal, and deontic logic, alongside ethical implications of artificial intelligence.
- Education: PhD in Computer Science (University of Verona, 2016), MA in Philosophy (University of Trento, 2012), BA in Philosophy (University of Siena, 2010).
Research Interests: Explore
- Modal logic: Analyzing necessity and possibility in formal systems.
- Temporal logic: Reasoning about time-dependent propositions.
- Deontic logic: Studying normative reasoning and ethical frameworks.
- Indeterminism: Formalizing non-deterministic models in philosophy.
- AI Ethics: Addressing moral challenges in artificial intelligence.
Current Projects: Principal Investigator for MODREQUAM (Modal Reasoning with Quarc and Metaphysics), focusing on integrating formal logic with metaphysical analysis.
