Matteo De Tina is Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Bath, focusing on macroeconomic theory, monetary economics, and dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models. His research examines monetary policy frameworks and their impact on economic stability. As Director of Learning and Teaching, he oversees several economics undergraduate programs.
Holds a PhD in Economics from University of York, an MSc from York, and a BS from University of Trento. Work explores labor market dynamics, policy transmission mechanisms, and educational impacts of technological interventions in developing economies.
Published research includes analyses of monetary policy rules and household economic behavior in Pakistan. Current projects investigate inflation targeting frameworks in post-Brexit economies.
