Matteo Crosera

Matteo Crosera is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Trieste. His research focuses on Analytical Chemistry, with emphasis on environmental and supramolecular chemistry, particularly nanoparticles in the environment, nanotoxicology, atmospheric aerosols, and thermal processes. He is actively involved in research groups including the Atmospheric aerosols Group and the Nanoparticles in the environment and nanotoxicology Group.

Professor Crosera contributes to departmental governance as a member of the Department's Board and Boards of Studies. His current research projects include the development of biocompatible and sustainable enzyme mimicking compounds, and he collaborates on initiatives under the Piano Nazionale per gli Investimenti Complementari al PNRR (PNC) focused on health, environment, biodiversity, and climate.
