معرفی
Matteo Conti is a Research Fellow at Northumbria University specializing in industrial and transportation design, low carbon vehicles (LCVs), smart mobility, and design-led innovation. His work explores smart mobility aesthetics applicable to vehicles, transport infrastructure, and human-machine interfaces (HMI), with a particular focus on autonomous vehicles (AVs) and design fiction methodologies.
- Education: Design Studies BA (Hons) from 1999, PRINCE2 Foundation certification (2018)
Conti's research spans interdisciplinary approaches to future mobility, AI integration in autonomous vehicle design, and emotion regulation tools for arts students. His publications analyze sustainable transportation frameworks, smart port development, and user-driven urban mobility systems. He supervises postgraduate researcher Hanna Bawab and contributes to higher education innovation through extreme scenario design.
Professional activities include invited talks on intelligent mobility at international conferences since 2020, with recent 2024 presentations focusing on electric wheelchair charging infrastructure and AI's impact on urban environments. His work intersects design, technology, and sustainability across multiple domains including autonomous vehicles, accessible urban design, and mental health support tools.
