Matt Seymour

Matt Seymour is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Northern Colorado, affiliated with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. His academic career spans roles as a field-research associate at The Ohio State University and Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where he chaired the English Language Arts Teaching emphasis.

Research Interests: Literature curriculum development, dialogic literary argumentation, and argumentative writing pedagogy. His work emphasizes student-centered critical conversations and integrating digital technology into Shakespeare instruction, as evidenced by his 2014 National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) fellowship at the Folger Shakespeare Library.
