Matt Pierce is a Senior Lecturer at Indiana University's Media School, where he has taught since 2003 with his office located in TV 308.
His educational background includes:
- J.D. from Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington (1987)
- B.A. in Telecommunications/Political Science from Indiana University (1984)
His teaching focuses on telecommunications law and policy, alongside telecommunications industry dynamics and management practices. He integrates extensive government and broadcasting experience into his curriculum, emphasizing real-world applications of regulatory frameworks and industry structures.
