Matt Holloway serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at Indiana University South Bend, where he has taught since spring 1994. He also previously taught at Purdue University Statewide Technology in South Bend for one year. His teaching responsibilities include introductory computer science courses such as Problem Solving Using Computers (B100/I101) and Introduction to Computing (A106).

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with computer minor, University of Notre Dame (1987)
- M.S. in Systems Engineering with robotics emphasis, Oakland University (1989)
- Additional post-graduate work in Systems Engineering at University of Notre Dame
Holloway specializes in teaching foundational programming concepts with emphasis on Microsoft technologies. He has developed extensive teaching materials including handouts for Visual C++ .NET and Visual Basic .NET, along with instructional YouTube videos for C++ programming. His teaching approach includes classroom demonstrations on topics like input buffer mechanics and parameter passing techniques.
Outside academia, Holloway operated Holloway's Detasseling, a corn detasseling business contracting with Pioneer Hi-Bred from 1989-2010. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys extreme activities including bungee jumping, rock climbing, parachuting, and boxing. He is married to Becky with two children: Noah (born 2007) and Keira (born 2010).
