Matthew Hipsey is a Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA), affiliated with the School of Agriculture and Environment and the Centre for Water and Spatial Science. His research focuses on ecohydrology, water quality, and aquatic system modelling, with particular emphasis on climate change impacts and river basin sustainability. He holds degrees including a PhD in Environmental Biology (Water Quality) from the University of Adelaide and an MEngSc in Environmental Engineering from UWA.
