Matt Freedman

Matt Freedman (1957–2020) was a Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Studies at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. He held a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.A./M.F.A. from the University of Iowa. His practice spanned sculpture, graphic art, performance, writing, and curation, focusing on DIY reinterpretations of cultural myths and modern spectacles.
