Matt Bailey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Brigham Young University's College of Life Sciences. As a BYU alumnus, he focuses on translating genomic research into clinical applications for personalized cancer treatment.
His primary research interests include:
- Developing predictive biomarkers for tumor analysis
- Big-data visualization techniques for genomic datasets
- Statistical model development for treatment optimization
- Genomics-guided therapeutic strategies
- Precision medicine approaches targeting molecular vulnerabilities in cancer
Outside academia, he engages in coaching youth sports, gardening, hiking, and futurism discussions.
