Mats Eriksson is a Senior Associate Professor at Linköping University’s Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM). He leads the Sensor and Actuator Systems (SAS) division’s research group focused on Chemical and Biosensor systems, integrating fundamental discoveries with real-world applications in collaboration with industry and societal partners.

- Electronic tongues for drinking water monitoring
- Smart bandages with integrated sensors and drug delivery
- Laser-induced papertronics for flexible electronics
- Optical pathogen detection (E. coli)
