Matilde A. Rodrigues

Matilde A. Rodrigues is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Environmental Health at the School of Health, Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESS|P.PORTO). She coordinates academic programs such as the Environmental Health BSc and the Master in Hygiene and Safety at Organizations. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Systems from the University of Minho (2014) and an MSc in Human Engineering (Ergonomics and Human Factors) from the same university (2009). Her research focuses on occupational health, risk management, ergonomics, and IoT applications for health monitoring. She has coordinated projects like MSDs@Retail and participated in initiatives like Mad@Work, funded by private and institutional grants. She received a Santander Research Grant (2014) to pursue post-doctoral work at the University of Málaga. Dr. Rodrigues is an Associate Editor at Safety Science (ISI journal) and collaborates with research centers like ALGORITMI (UMinho) and the Center for Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology at ESS|P.PORTO.
