Mathews Jacob is an Adjunct Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of Iowa College of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Imaging from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (2003), an MS in Signal Processing from the Indian Institute of Science (1999), and a BSE in Electrical & Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (1996). Jacob joined the University of Iowa in 2011 and is affiliated with the IEEE and IEEE Signal Processing Society.
