Mathew Swiatlowski is a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Lenoir-Rhyne University, teaching courses in U.S. history, American studies, and the cultural history of music. He holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, an M.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
