Mateusz Gerigk

Dr inż. arch. Mateusz Gerigk is an Assistant Professor at Gdańsk University of Technology, affiliated with the Department of Residential Architecture and Public Utilities under the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. His research focuses on urban planning, smart cities, and sustainable development, particularly in the context of mixed-use buildings and maritime technology integration. He has contributed to advancements in autonomous maritime systems and AI-driven control mechanisms for underwater/overwater vehicles.

Research interests include the systemic design of mixed-use structures for future smart cities, as well as the application of unmanned systems for maritime monitoring and infrastructure assessment. His recent work explores the intersection of architecture and emerging technologies to enhance urban sustainability and safety.
