Massimo Piattelli-Palmarini is a Professor at the University of Arizona with joint appointments in Linguistics, Cognitive Science, and Psychology. His career spans interdisciplinary research bridging language theory, cognition, and decision-making.

His research focuses on the biological foundations of language, cognitive biases in decision-making, theoretical linguistics, and quantum field theory's implications for syntax.
