Massimo Origoni

Massimo Origoni is an Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University's Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He serves as Coordinator of the Gynecological Oncological Diagnostic Centre at San Raffaele Scientific Institute and leads multiple teaching programs including "Gynecological Oncology" and "Diagnostic and Interventional Ultrasound in Gynecology & Obstetrics."

• MD with honors (1986) and specialization in Gynecology & Obstetrics (1990) from University of Milan

His research focuses on HPV-related carcinogenesis and lower genital tract pathology, with over 80 publications and leadership in the Italian HPV Study Group. Recent articles examine HPV vaccination strategies, colposcopy quality control, and conservative treatment outcomes for cervical adenocarcinoma.

Scientific contributions include peer reviewer roles for American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and editorial board membership in Journal of Clinical & Experimental Oncology. He coordinates the "Teaching and Updating" activity area in San Raffaele's Maternal Fetal Department.
