Massimo CANONICO

Massimo CANONICO is an Associate Professor at the Università del Piemonte Orientale Amedeo Avogadro, Department of Science and Technological Innovation. His research focuses on Cloud Computing, Telemedicine, Wearable Technology, and Urban Climate Analysis. He leads projects like KITE: Knowledge-Intensive and Technology-Enhanced Patient Emergency Management as a Co-Investigator, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration.

His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in healthcare innovation and environmental sustainability. Key achievements include the HealthTracker System (cloud-based wearable healthcare monitoring) and Step-App® (telemonitoring for post-surgical patients).
