Mason Vail is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Boise State University, part of the College of Engineering. He holds dual degrees in Biology and Computer Science, with nine years of industry experience and over eight years of teaching experience. Prior to academia, he worked as a software engineer at Micron Technology and contributed to biologically-inspired computing research at Crowley Davis Research, Inc., developing simulation platforms for biological modeling.
