Masi Mohammadi is a Full Professor at the Department of Built Environment at Eindhoven University of Technology and holds the KIVI-chair of 'Architecture in Health' at HAN University of Applied Sciences. She leads the interdisciplinary research program 'Empathic Environment', focusing on integrating emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and robotics into architectural systems to enhance user health, wellbeing, and social engagement. Her work spans smart healthy neighborhoods, kinetic façade design, and evidence-based frameworks for adaptive living environments.
Her research is conducted in collaboration with industry and practice partners across 10 Living Labs in the Netherlands. She has received grants from organizations such as Interreg Europe, NWO, ZonMW, and the Province of North Brabant. Mohammadi is a prolific speaker, having delivered over 120 academic and professional keynotes.
