María Muñoz Amatriain

María Muñoz Amatriain is a Professor at the Department of Molecular Biology within the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of León. Her research focuses on plant genetics, genomics, and transcriptomics, with a specific emphasis on plant pathology.

She earned her PhD in 2007 from the University of Zaragoza, completing a thesis titled Control genético y variación transcripcional de la embriogénesis de la microspora encebada under the supervision of Dr. M. Pilar Vallés Brau.
