María Gaibar Alonso

Dr. María Gaibar Alonso is an Associate Professor at the UCJC, specializing in Biomedicine and Health Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Alcalá and has conducted research at institutions like the Systems Biology Laboratory (UAH) and IdiPAZ. Her research focuses on cancer pharmacogenetics, immunotherapy, and human genetic variability. She has over 25 publications and 27 funded projects, including work on microRNA biomarkers and therapeutic efficacy prediction. She is also recognized for her teaching excellence, winning awards for innovative pedagogy in Pharmacy and Biotechnology degrees.
