María Barreiro Gen

María Barreiro Gen is a faculty member at the University of A Coruña (UDC), Spain, affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Department of Applied Economics. She has previously held academic positions at the University of Gävle (Sweden) and the National Distance Education University (UNED). Her research focuses on public policy, gender, sustainability, circular economy, and sustainable organisations, with an interdisciplinary approach spanning economics, management, law, and education.

María Barreiro Gen has supervised numerous end-of-degree projects and master’s theses on topics such as gender in trade, labour markets, migration, and sustainability.
