Marzena Adamiak

Marzena Adamiak is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS PAN), where she has been affiliated since 2011. She leads the Research Team on Hermeneutic Philosophy, Poststructuralism, and Feminist Thought. Since 2015, she has been actively involved in the Polish Phenomenological Association, serving on its board and as treasurer. Adamiak also holds editorial positions, including membership in the International Advisory Board of 'Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy' and the editorial board of 'Fenomenologia'.

Education:

Her research examines embodied experience, metaphysical entanglements of gender, and critiques of dualism in Western philosophy. Key themes include Levinasian alterity, Barad's agential realism, and Braidotti's nomadic subjectivity.
