Maryam Saeedifard is a Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics and its applications in Power Systems and Transportation Systems. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University from 2010 to 2014.
- Education: B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Her research spans Power Electronics, High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Transmission, Grid Integration of Renewable Energy Resources, Electric Vehicles, and Transportation Systems. She has contributed to advancing energy-efficient technologies and sustainable power systems.
