Mary Shaw is the A.J. Perlis Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science (SCS), with a joint appointment at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). She co-founded the SEI and served as Chief Scientist (1984-1987).
