Mary "Missy" Cummings is a Professor and Director of Mason's Autonomy and Robotics Center (MARC) at George Mason University's College of Engineering and Computing. She holds faculty appointments across three departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Computer Science. A former U.S. Navy fighter pilot, Cummings combines her military experience with academic expertise in human-autonomous systems interactions and responsible AI.
