Mary Ethel Parrott

Sr. Mary Ethel Parrott, SND, is a distinguished alumna of Thomas More University (B.S. in Physics, 1969) and Notre Dame Academy (NDA). She later earned a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Kentucky. From 1972, she served as a faculty member at NDA, inspiring generations of young women in STEM through her teaching and mentorship. Her legacy is commemorated via the Sister Mary Ethel Parrott ’69 Endowed Scholarship, established to support NDA graduates pursuing STEM degrees at Thomas More.
