Mary E Harmon is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Providence College. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire (2009). Her research focuses on cognitive processes related to religious cognition, including the differentiation between implicit and explicit expressions of belief among theists and atheists, as well as the impact of divided attention on text comprehension.
