Mary Bell is a Lecturer in Midwifery at Northumbria University, based at the Coach Lane (East) campus. She holds an MA in Health (2008) and is a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) since 2016. Her work focuses on enhancing academic and professional skills for student midwives, particularly through the development of 'Thrivival' skills. She presented her research on this topic at the RCM Annual Conference in 2017.
