Marwan M. Krunz is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona and serves as the UA site director of Connection One, an NSF/state/industry research center focused on RF and wireless systems. His research expertise includes wireless ad hoc networks, media streaming technologies, packet scheduling, buffer management, and QoS provisioning.
With over 150 publications and three US patents, Krunz has made significant contributions to wireless network security, cognitive radio systems, and resource management in wireless communications. His work develops solutions for spectrum sharing, secure data collection in sensor networks, and defense against jamming attacks.
Professor Krunz is an IEEE Fellow and NSF CAREER Award recipient. He has held visiting positions at INRIA (France), HP Labs, and Paris VI University, maintaining international research collaborations.
