Maruf Adewole, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Associate Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, Department of Radiology. He is affiliated with the Center for Global Health and serves as Executive Director of the Medical Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MAI Lab) in Lagos, Nigeria.
His research focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to improve medical imaging and cancer diagnosis in resource-constrained settings across Africa.
