Martine J. Barons is a Professor in Statistics and Director of the Applied Statistics & Risk Unit (AS&RU) at the University of Warwick. Her research focuses on decision-making under uncertainty, structured expert judgment, and their applications in food security, pollination, digital archives, and the energy sector. She holds roles in knowledge exchange and policy advisory, including membership in the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) committees and the Academy for Mathematical Sciences advisory board.
