Martina Nord serves as an Assistant Professor at Stockholm University's Department of Psychology, where she conducts research at the intersection of clinical psychology, neuroscience, and health.
Her research focuses on developing and evaluating interventions for mental health problems across diverse populations, with particular emphasis on individuals with neurodiversity including autism and ADHD. Dr. Nord investigates the underlying mechanisms and neural correlates in the brain associated with these conditions, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of how psychological interventions affect brain function.
As part of the Clinical Psychology, Neuroscience and Health research group, she works within a framework that bridges clinical practice with neuroscience to develop evidence-based approaches for mental health treatment. Her work addresses critical gaps in understanding how mental health interventions can be tailored to neurodiverse populations while maintaining scientific rigor in measuring neural correlates of therapeutic change.
