معرفی
Martina Kopf is an active researcher at the University of Vienna with dual appointments in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Institute for International Development) and the Faculty of Philology and Cultural Studies (Institute of African Studies). Her academic work focuses on African literatures, particularly Kenyan postcolonial writing, with strong emphasis on ecofeminism, trauma studies, and development discourse.
Her research interests center on African women writers, eco-feminist perspectives, and postcolonial development narratives. Kopf examines how African authors, especially women like Wangari Maathai, Rebeka Njau, and Grace Ogot, construct narratives of resistance, environmental justice, and social transformation. Her work engages critically with concepts of witnessing, institutional discourse, and the social function of literature in postcolonial contexts.
Analysis of her recent publications reveals consistent engagement with African feminist epistemologies, decolonial thought, and literary representations of development. Her scholarship bridges literary analysis with development studies, examining how literature reflects and shapes discourses around international aid, economic policy, and social transformation in Africa.

Kopf has organized numerous scientific events and maintains an active research profile with 62 publications to date. She is actively engaged in the global academic community, with upcoming presentations at the ACLALS 20th Triennial Conference in July 2025.
