Prof. Dr. Martin Zimmer is a Professor for Mangrove Ecology at the University of Bremen and an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Ocean and Earth Sciences, Universiti Malaya. He leads the Working Group Mangrove Ecology at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) and contributes to Programme Area 4 – Ecosystem Co-Design towards a sustainable Anthropocene.
