معرفی
Dr. Martin Strube-Bloss is a Research Associate at the University of Bielefeld, Faculty of Biology, Department of Behavioral Cybernetics, since 2019. He previously led the Multi-modal Integration Group at Biozentrum, University of Würzburg (2017-2021), and held research assistant positions there (2013-2019). His career includes postdoctoral work at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology (2010-2013) and Arizona State University (2008-2010).
- PhD in Neurobiology, Free University of Berlin (2005-2008)
- Diploma in Biology, Free University of Berlin (2005)
His research focuses on neuroethology and insect sensory processing, particularly the neuronal mechanisms underlying multimodal information integration and experience-dependent modulation. He investigates these through collaborations with interdisciplinary teams in Germany and abroad.
Dr. Strube-Bloss has secured multiple research grants, including DFG funding for olfactory modulation studies (2022) and faculty innovation grants at Bielefeld University (2020, 2022). He has organized international symposia on insect behavior and neurophysiology.
- 2023: Small research grant, Faculty of Biology, University of Bielefeld
- 2022: DFG FOR 5424 grant on olfactory circuit dynamics
- 2020: Junior researcher grant, Faculty of Biology, University of Bielefeld
He is affiliated with the Center for Cognitive Interaction Technology (CITEC) and contributes to interdisciplinary research in socio-technical systems. His work bridges biology, computational neuroscience, and robotics.
