Martin Quinn

Professor Martin Quinn is a faculty member at the Queen's Business School (QBS) within Queen's University Belfast, holding a position in the Department of Accounting. His research focuses on organizational and accounting change, accounting history, family business dynamics, and public sector accounting. He actively contributes to the Centre for Economic History and is involved in editorial roles for journals like Accounting History. Quinn is currently accepting PhD students in areas such as management accounting change and accounting information systems.

His research interests include the historical evolution of accounting practices, the impact of digital transformation on accounting frameworks, and the role of accounting in family enterprises. He has explored topics ranging from rural electrification in Ireland to the financialization of domestic waste management policies.
