Martin Ostoja Starzewski

Martin Ostoja Starzewski is a Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, holding joint appointments in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering, the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), and the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. His research focuses on stochastic mechanics, continuum physics, and fractal media, with emphasis on random fields, thermodynamics, and material behavior under complex conditions.
