Martin Obst serves as a Professor at the Faculty for Biology, Chemistry and Earth Sciences, University of Bayreuth, Germany, and is an active LINXS Fellow contributing to the Environment and Climate research theme.
His research expertise centers on environmental science and earth sciences, with specialized focus on human impact and pollution dynamics alongside structural analysis of environmental interfaces. As a core member of LINXS Working Group 2 (Human impact and pollution) and Working Group 4 (Structures and environmental interfaces), he employs interdisciplinary neutron and x-ray methodologies to investigate pollution mechanisms and environmental system architectures.
Professor Obst's collaborative work within the LINXS community integrates advanced imaging techniques to address critical challenges in environmental contamination and climate-related structural changes, emphasizing real-world applications through international scientific partnerships.
