معرفی
Prof. Martin Möhle is a Professor in the Stochastics Group at the Mathematical Institute of Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. His research focuses on probability theory, stochastic processes, mathematical population genetics, bioinformatics, and biomathematics, with a particular emphasis on ancestral processes, coalescent theory, and probabilistic number theory. He has contributed extensively to the theoretical foundations of population genetics models and coalescent processes.
Teaching activities include lectures on Stochastics, Stochastic Processes, Mathematical Population Genetics, and Probability Theory. He is an editor of the Journal of Applied Probability and Advances in Applied Probability, and maintains active links with research institutions such as the Mathematical Research Institute Oberwolfach (MFO) and the Cornell University E-Print Service (arXiv).
His research explores topics like the genealogy of multi-type Cannings models, asymptotic behavior of branching processes, and scaling limits of coalescent processes. Recent work emphasizes applications in population genetics, including models with skewed fertilities and mutation-selection dynamics.
