Martin Krumbholz, born in 1954 in Wuppertal, is a Lecturer at the Folkwang Theatrecentre of Folkwang Universität der Künste since the winter semester 2015/16. He is also a freelance theatre and literary critic, contributing to major publications like Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit, and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
- Studied literature in Bochum and Munich (PhD)
- Worked as dramaturg and assistant director
- Freelance critic since 1991
His research and creative work spans theatre criticism, literary analysis, and contemporary drama. He premiered the play 'Hotel Bogotá' (2012/13) and published the novel 'Eine kleine Passion' (2013).
