PD Dr. rer. nat. habil. Martin Kreh is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute for Mathematics and Applied Informatics, within Faculty 4 (Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Economics and Computer Science) at the University of Hildesheim. He has taught a wide range of courses since 2013, including lectures and seminars on

His research focuses on discrete mathematics, graph theory, and combinatorics, particularly on mathematical games like peg solitaire and the "Lights Out" puzzle. His publications include studies on pagoda functions for peg solitaire on graphs and variants of the Lights Out game.
He has authored several textbooks, including the "Tutorium Analysis 1 und Lineare Algebra 1" and "Tutorium Algebra," which are widely used in mathematics education. His current teaching activities include supervising seminars on grids, polygons, and polyhedra, as well as advanced courses in linear algebra and number theory.
