Martin High is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Oklahoma State University’s College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University (1990), along with M.S. and B.S. degrees in the same field from Penn State (1983, 1981). He also earned a J.D. in Law from the University of Tulsa (2005). His research focuses on polymer physical chemistry, applied polymer science, and thermodynamic properties of gases in polymers, polymer solutions, and polymer blends. A unique experimental approach in his work involves using quartz crystals as highly sensitive balances to measure solvent transport into polymer films. Teaching interests include transport phenomena, thermodynamics, process dynamics and control, and polymer science and engineering.
