Martin Hairer

Martin Hairer is a Professor of Pure Mathematics at both École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Imperial College London. His research focuses on stochastic analysis, partial differential equations, and their intersections with probability theory and mathematical physics.

His work includes the study of stochastic PDEs, as evidenced by his course on the subject and leadership of the Probability and Stochastic Analysis Seminar at EPFL. He also develops software such as Amadeus Lite and Amadeus Pro, audio editing tools compatible with modern systems like macOS Sequoia and Apple Silicon Macs.
