Martin Gonzo

Dr. Martin Gonzo is a Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Greenwich, part of the School of Science within the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He holds dual Fellowships: from the Higher Education Academy (UK) and the Institute of Biomedical Science (UK). Previously, he served as a Senior Lecturer at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and London Metropolitan University, where he also led the MSc Blood Sciences program and undergraduate Blood Transfusion Science module.

Research Interests: His work centers on Blood Transfusion Science, Haematology, Immunology, and the role of Hepcidin in Iron Deficiency Anaemia. He combines clinical expertise with academic research, emphasizing translational applications in biomedical diagnostics.
